Biding Time
Fall of 2024, I was in West Virginia because the mountains in North Carolina had been made inaccessible by the devastation from hurricane Helene. I was returning to my hotel late in the day and came across a State Park that I had never been to, so, why not! I found this old pine standing in the forest on a beautiful trail, dead but not fallen, just biding his time until that day when a storms wind or just the ravages of time takes him down. The light was beautiful, the quiet was serene. Stand tall my friend, stand tall. Fine art print on Red River Paper Polar White 60# Matte paper, 13”x19”, image will cover entire 13”x19”.
